Solar is not just clean energy; it safeguards the environment for future generations
Without question, clean energy is becoming the energy of choice for businesses, community leaders, and consumers. Implementing solar energy reduces financial risk due to rising energy costs. Facilities and homes that have solar implemented are cheaper to operate, more valuable, and competitive to lease or sell. National use of solar energy protects the earth's climate by preventing the release of thousands of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere consequently contributing to a clean environment for future generations.
Distributed Energy reduces the amount of energy lost in transmitting electricity because the electricity is generated where it is used.
Solar Distributed Energy produces clean renewable energy where it is needed, when needed, by high energy consumers, and thereby relieving pressure on the grid. When energy is utilized close to its generation source, transmission issues are significantly reduced and attenuation is less. Solar power in particular produces power at a time when large amounts of power are being consumed from the grid. Installation of solar energy occurs on commercial entities rooftop, land, and parking areas which are already disturbed land and are zoned accordingly. This reduces the necessity to build new transmission/distribution lines or upgrade existing ones. Solar can be configured to meet peak power needs to diversify the range of energy sources in use and increase the reliability of the grid network. Solar also is configured to provide premium power, when coupled with uninterruptible power supply “UPS” and is well-suited as a distributed renewable energy technology because it can be located close to the user and can be installed in small increments to match the load requirement of the customer.
Climate change is a serious issue facing the world today. As global citizens, we’re concerned about the negative consequences of climate change. Working with global organizations, we are raising consciousness about the reality of climate change and taking action to make a meaningful and positive difference in the world. American industries, government, and consumers all have roles to play in addressing climate change and we believe that prudent and cost-effective actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere are necessary. We know that today’s operations affect tomorrow’s environment and tomorrow’s environment is where America’s youth will endure.
