Solar Nation installs modules that have been produced by manufacturers whose processes have been audited by Solar Nation and that have been independently tested to ensure that they will meet your energy production needs now and for years to come. Each panel has a 25-year production warranty backed by a manufacturer with strong reputation and a healthy balance sheet.

Fully-integrated manufacturing

Solar Nation panel manufacturers have full control over each stage of the manufacturing process:

It is the manufacturer’s ownership and strict control of each stage of the manufacturing process that ensures their reliability as a supplier of quality solar panels.

Audited manufacturing processes

Solar Nation audits the manufacturing process of each manufacturer to ensure the solar panels we install meet exacting standards.

• Crystal growing processes produce ingots of pure silicon with consistent lattices
• Wafers are cut and processed in production clean rooms
• Sophisticated processing equipment that ensures high quality cells (No Hand processes)
• Superior low-light performance through cell texturing (Type 100)
• Machine tool testing/inspections at each step of the manufacturing process help ensure quality control
• PV cells are assembled into modules using a fully automated process to maximize consistency
• Each module is individually tested to stringent power output tolerances, This includes reverse polarity testing and flash testing
• All modules use high grade busing manufacturing techniques to insure that the busing is built to last
• Junction boxes meet NEC 690.35D, UL, and TUV requirements. Include heat sinks to keep bypass diodes cool in hot weather and connectors designed for quick lock to seal out moisture
• Manufacture must meet UL 1703 qualifications, frame testing to 112 psf for load compliance with IEC 61215, complies with National Electric Code (NEC), and factories are ISO certified
• Tight ±3% power tolerance to ensure high performance
• Each module individually bar-coded and tracked for the life of the system.
