Solar Nation provides solar-electric systems and services to high-energy-use customers across North America

Solar Nation serves commercial, government, and non-profit organizations that are positioned to benefit from the solar-tax credits, grants, feed-in tariffs, renewable energy credits, or other incentives available for the installation of solar energy systems. Typically, these customers meet the following criteria:

Own property or have long-term lease (20 years or more)
Have an average power consumption of at least 30,000 kWh per month
Have a minimum of 50,000 square feet of property that is suitable for solar. Large un-shaded rooftops and parking lots and un-shaded vacant land adjacent to an energy-user are ideal prospects.

Customers we serve The systems that Solar Nation manufactures, designs, engineers, installs, and maintains for our customers range from large rooftop and carport arrays, serving individual schools and businesses, to ground-mounted solar farms, serving metropolitan areas.

Customers that can take direct advantage of the available incentives, typically buy the systems in a balance sheet transaction, receiving payback on their investment in the first five years, and receiving free power thereafter (except for service and maintenance costs) for the remaining twenty years of the warranted life of the solar panels.

Customers that cannot take direct advantage of available incentives typically host a system that is installed and owned by Solar Nation or an affiliate and then buy power at a discount under terms of a power purchase agreement.
